Confirmation of Booking

You will receive an email confirmation for your appointment with a “Confirm” Link. You can click the link and it will confirm your appointment automatically. We will also call to confirm your appointment. We cannot reserve appointments that are not confirmed.

Cancellation Policy

Your appointment is very important to us. We reserve each appointment especially for you. To best serve our clients and our staff, we require 24-hours notice by phone to cancel or reschedule any appointment. Failure to do so will result in a cancellation charge.

Credit Cards

Please be advised that a credit card will be required to secure your reservation. We accept Amex, Visa (debit/credit), Mastercard, Discover. We do not accept tips on credit cards.

Online Profiles

By creating an online profile/providing your contact info with Substance Salon, you have willingly elected to receive confirmation emails and text message notifications about salon news/updates. By accepting your appointment you agree to these terms and these forms of contact.

Gratuities

All gratuities must be paid in cash. Often times our guests ask how much they should tip? The industry standard is 15-20%.

PARKING

Kip Avenue Parking lot directly behind our building and access to the salon from the rear. Street meter parking is also permitted on Park Avenue, Orient way and nearby cross streets.

I recently had a haircut color and highlights done by CJ I love this salon the vibe is very organic The salon is clean chairs for hair washing recline and are very comfortable. I never had a go-to hairstylist, until I discovered Substance Salon. I met the awesome folks over @ Substance during a bridal show. Even though I had already booked my hair and makeup with another salon, I booked Substance to do the rest of my bridal party. Flawless! In the meantime, I also started going to Substance for my regular haircuts and color treatments. I can't say enough about how great Kristy is. I've got my all 4 dental implants done at Temecula Dental Implants and Oral Surgery in California. On my very first appointment it ended up lasting hours past closing time (I have long hair) and yet everyone was really nice and patient, and you could tell they really cared about their customers. My boyfriend recommended that I check out Substance Salon after getting his haircut by Manny, the owner. He said that Manny understands the 'look' he wants and cuts hair to achieve perfection.
